Department of Civil Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore successfully organized the Third Edition of Industry Conclave on April 13th, 2024.Er. Kabilan Devarajan, CEO, URC Constructions Pvt LTd, Erode accepted our invitation to be the chief guest for the event. The main objective of the program is to express our gratitude for the support rendered by industry experts' in BoS, guest lectures, internships, consultancy activities, placements,faculty training programmes, one credit courses, students field visits etc.
Around 35 industry delegates from leading civil engineering associations and organizations were invited for the conclave. Chief guest Er. Kabilan Devarajan addressed the gathering stating the different verticals in civil engineering domain with its scope. He also highlighted that multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches of problem solving are essential and important. He also mentioned about the opportunities available for young engineers in various infrastructure development projects and suggested equipping themselves to be industry ready.
Later, all the invited industry delegates were honoured by the chief guest and our principal Dr. D. Saravanan.
Invited delegates from various civil engineering associations and organizations also interacted with our students on the latest trends, technological advancement and opportunities. Our students also interacted with the experts and benefited from the conclave. Such industry conclave will definitely strengthen the network between the industry and academia.
