Summary

A farewell ceremony was organized by the student’s association “SPARTRANZ” for the outgoing final year students (2020–24 batch) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering Students, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, on April 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Thanam Hall. All the students were assembled at the venue around 11:00 a.m. The function began with a welcome speech by the head of the department, Dr. M. Karthirvelu, professor and head of the department, Electronics and Communication Engineering. Dr. M. Kathirvelu enlightened the students with his inspirational speech, and he conveyed his best wishes to all the students. Some students delivered their speeches on behalf of the other final-year students at the institute. They expressed their deep love and gratitude towards the teachers for their teaching and mentoring. The year coordinator, Dr. B. Jaishankar, Professor/ECE, also wished the students a bright future and advised them to prepare themselves to serve the nation in the future. Finally, the students were served dessert and main cuisine. The program came to an end at 12:30 p.m. Summing up, the day was great, filled with nostalgia, fun, and excitement!
