The KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology recently celebrated the inauguration of the Student Chapter of the Society for Data Science (S4DS) in its Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The ceremony began with a welcome address by Ms. Lavanya Priya followed by the presidential address by Dr. S. V. Sudha., Head of the Department, who emphasized the importance of data science in today's technology-driven world and the role of S4DS in providing students with a platform for professional growth and networking.
Following the keynote, the chapter's office bearers were introduced by Ms. Priyadarshini S., and the official chapter plaque was unveiled. The event also included a panel discussion featuring students and faculty members, who discussed the latest trends in artificial intelligence and data science, offering valuable insights to the students.
The inauguration concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the guests, faculty, and students for their support and enthusiasm.
