On 11.08.2022 at 01.45 PM (IST),The department of COMPUTER SCIENCE Engineering and
Career Advancement Cell jointly organized ‘GATE AWARENESS PROGRAM’.
More than 150 students participated in this program.
Mr. Sathyamoorthy, and Mr.Vivekanandan, GATE Educator from Unacademy, given an insight about GATE exam.
Mrs.C.Sasikala Ap, department of computer science engineering delivered a welcome address .After the welcome address, chief guest Mrs. Mr.Vivekanandan, start his session. They have explained well about how to approach the GATE exam, study tips, how to crack GATE exam easily and so on.
Also explained the eligilabilty of the GATE exam (A candidate who has already completed any government approved degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts is eligible for appearing in the GATE 2023 exam)
Chief guest and students has discussioned about the uses of GATE.
The purpose of the GATE exam is to test students' knowledge in subjects like Engineering and Science. The GATE scorecard is also used by multiple PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) to recruit applicants for distinguished jobs
They interacted with the students and faculty members. It was really a useful session for the students and the faculty members of the department.

This session went for 2 hours . After doubt clarification session , the participants thanked the resource person and event organizers for a wonderful session .we received many postivie feedback regarding this session.
