Students script writing competition was identified.

India celebrates Independence Day on August 15. It is the day we remember the sacrifices made by the brave freedom fighters who struggled for our independence. India got freedom from British rule on this day in 1947. Freedom is the soul of our country. If you want freedom forever, never let go the freedom of country. Independence is more valuable than anything else; protect it more than everything else. It is a day to celebrate independence, with pride and confidence. Script writing competition was organized by film club in view of Independence Day. As part of Independence Day Celebrations 2020, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting along with NFDC is organizing and hosting an Online Short Film Competition to create a patriotic mood surrounding this year’s Independence Day in the context of the challenges being faced by the nation. The movie Independence Day teaches us that victory is more important than principles. The Short Film Award recognises short-form works with a unique cinematic voice and a confident handling of chosen theme and content. The term featurette originally was used for a movie or film longer than a short subject, but shorter than a standard feature film. Documentaries are almost always short films. Short films provide an outlet for creative expression, an opportunity for learning and the chance to be discovered. Totally 30 scripts received in which 20 scripts from internal and 10 scripts from external. Students actively take part in the competition. The best shorfilm was rewarded to motivate and encourage students.
