Summary
The day 1 started with Inauguration FDP and Prof Ajith Abraham delivered the inaugural address at Veena Hall, KPRIET. Further Prof Ajith Abraham handled session on “Role of AI and Data Science in Modern Digital Economy”. The third year students of AD particpated in the inauguration of the event. Participant attended the session both in physical mode and virtual mode. The session was conducted at Veena Hall with participants both in physical mode and in virtual mode.
The session on day 2 was handled by  Dr. Thirunavukarasu Balasubramaniam on “Emerging Research Opportunities for Data Scientists” in virtual mode. The opportunities and skills required for the data scientists are discussed in the session. Data science encompasses the areas of Statistics, mathematics, Computer Science, Information Theory, Information Technology, machine learning and optimization.
The day 3 session was handled by Dr. Meenalosini Vimal Cruz on the topic “Research Perspectives of AI in Brain Computer Interface”. The research opportunities in the area of Brain Computer Interface was deliberated.
The session on day4 was handled by Dr. Anand Paul on the topic “Recent Applications of Machine learning and Deep learning Algorithms”.  The session gave an overview of machine learning and their applications with real time scenarios.
The session on day5 was delivered by Dr. Anu Bajaj on  “Nature - Inspired Algorithms and their Applications”. The session gave an insight to various Nature Inspired algorithms and their role in performance improvement of machine learning models.
The participants gave positive feedback about the session and found it very interesting and useful.
