On July 19, 2024, the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology hosted an International Seminar on 'Scientific Working,' featuring Prof. Dr.-Ing. M.Sc. Thomas Carolus from the University of Siegen, Germany. The online event, conducted via Zoom, attracted a diverse audience of academics, industry professionals, and alumni, all eager to enhance their research skills and gain insights from a distinguished international scholar. Prof. Carolus, renowned for his expertise in fluid mechanics and turbomachinery, delivered a comprehensive presentation covering a wide array of essential research topics. These included initiating a research project, conducting a systematic research study, writing effective research proposals, and utilizing literature review techniques. Prof. Carolus also addressed critical aspects of research ethics and offered strategies for effectively presenting research findings. Additionally, he explored the role of technology in research and highlighted higher study and research opportunities in Germany.
