Summary

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in alliance with Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) professional body, successfully organized a 24-hours National Level AI Hackathon titled "Horizon’25" on 03.04.2025 to 04.04.2025. The objective of the hackathon was to bring together young minds from across India to solve real-world problems using Artificial Intelligence and promote innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

 

Participation Details

  • Total Number of Teams: 35

  • Total Participants: 105

  • Participating Institutions: 30+ colleges and universities across India

  • Team Composition: Each team consisted of 3 members from diverse backgrounds such as Computer Science, AI & DS, Electronics, and related domains.

Theme and Focus Areas

Participants were challenged to solve problems in the following domains:

  • Healthcare

  • Agriculture

  • Smart Cities

  • Education Technology

  • Environmental Sustainability

  • Finance and Fraud Detection

  • AI for Social Good
