Summary

On March 14, 2025, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in partnership with IETE and Spartranz, organized a workshop on the topic of "IOT " at Centre for IOT on campus. Led by the guidance of Dr.R.Jaikumar sir, this vibrant workshop took place from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, attracting 250 participants.

The objectives of a Workshop on the Internet of Things (IoT) aim to equip participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge about IoT concepts, technologies, and applications.

An IoT (Internet of Things) Workshop is an interactive and hands-on learning event designed to introduce participants to the core concepts, tools, and applications related to IoT technology. It typically combines lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises to help attendees understand the components of IoT systems, how they work, and how they can be applied in real-world scenarios. The goal is to provide participants with a solid foundation in IoT, from the hardware to software integration, as well as the various communication protocols and security considerations involved. The workshop typically includes practical exercises, discussions, and demonstrations to help participants understand and work with IoT devices, networks, and systems. By the end of the workshop, participants should have a solid understanding of IoT concepts, be capable of building basic IoT projects, and be familiar with the tools and platforms used in IoT development.
