Summary

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, in association with the SPARK Student Association, successfully organized the SPARKEdu Transfer Program on “Basics of Streamlit for Beginner’s” on 23rd August 2025 at the III AD classroom, KPRIET.

The session was delivered by Mr. Piyush Kumar Agrawal, Student Speaker from III AD (2023–2027 Batch). He introduced participants to the fundamentals of Streamlit, a Python-based framework for building interactive web applications. The session included an overview of Streamlit’s core features, installation process, and hands-on demonstrations to design simple applications.

Around 40 students actively participated in the program. The interactive nature of the session allowed students to clarify their doubts, try out code examples in real time, and understand how Streamlit can be applied in project development and data science use cases.

The event enhanced the peer-to-peer learning culture of the department, motivating students to explore open-source tools and frameworks. By the end of the session, participants gained confidence in creating basic web apps using Python, laying a strong foundation for their future projects and research activities.
