The outcome of the One-Credit Course on Industrial IoT (IIoT) is that students gained a clear understanding of how IoT technologies are applied in industrial environments to enable smart manufacturing, automation, and predictive maintenance. They developed awareness of the role of sensors, edge devices, and cloud platforms in real-time data-driven decision-making and learned about the importance of interoperability, scalability, and cybersecurity in IIoT systems. By engaging with industry case studies and expert insights from Mr. Vijayshankar K, students connected theory with practice, enhancing their readiness to apply IIoT concepts in Industry 4.0 applications and future career opportunities.
