Participants gained valuable insights into the transition from campus to corporate life, understanding workplace expectations, essential technical and soft skills, and strategies for adapting to the professional IT environment. The interaction inspired students to prepare effectively for placements, build strong professional ethics, and align their academic learning with industry requirements.
The department successfully organized the alumni interaction session titled “My Journey from Campus to Corporate: Lessons Learned.” The event was effectively coordinated with the active involvement of the student coordinator, Ms. Samyuktha S S, in collaboration with the faculty Coordinator.
The student coordinator played an important role in organizing the event by communicating with participants, sharing event details, and ensuring smooth coordination between the alumni speaker and the faculty organizers. The coordinator also assisted in arranging the venue, managing participant registration, and facilitating interaction between students and the alumni during the session.
During the event, the student coordinator supported the faculty in managing the schedule, encouraging student participation, and assisting in the question-and-answer session. This helped create an engaging platform where students could gain valuable insights into career preparation, workplace expectations, and professional growth from the alumni speaker.
The proactive efforts of the student coordinator contributed significantly to the smooth conduct and success of the event, enabling students to benefit from the alumni’s real-world experiences and practical guidance for transitioning from campus to the corporate environment.
