Event Outcome: Green Mindset Creative Walkathon
As part of the Institution Social Responsibility (ISR) initiative, myself along with 3 students from the Department of Chemical Engineering volunteered in the Green Mindset Creative Walkathon organized by the ANT Foundation. The event was conducted at Corporation Middle School, Masakalipalayam and S.I.H.S. Colony, Coimbatore.
The walkathon aimed to promote environmental awareness, healthy living, and community participation among students and local residents. Volunteers actively engaged in organizing the walk, coordinating participants, and spreading messages on sustainability, cleanliness, and eco-friendly habits.
The event successfully created awareness about the importance of adopting a green lifestyle and encouraged students and the community to take small but meaningful steps towards environmental conservation. It also strengthened the spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility among the student participants.
Outcome Summary:
Enhanced environmental awareness in local schools and communities.
