Department of computer Science and Engineering organizes an alumni lecture series on the current and future trends in Data Analytics. Alumni name is Gowri Shankar A. Alumni working as data analyst in Latent View Analytics. Totally 20 students are participated in this event. The second year and third year students participated in the event. Welcome address is given by Siva Ramakrishnan sir. The event started at 10 AM. He explains how Data analyst works in Tableau in a data visualization tool . This technology is there to support complex computations, data blending and dashboarding for the purpose of creating beautiful visualizations that deliver insights that cannot easily be derived from staring at a spreadsheet. Tableau Dashboard has a great reporting feature that allows you to customize dashboard specifically for a certain device such as a mobile phone or laptop. Tableau can handle millions of rows of data with ease. Different types of visualization can be created with a large amount of data without impacting the performance of the dashboards. Gowri shared about the experience how he worked in different companies. He given beautiful speech about the placement and domains of our college. He explained how to fix our domain. Finally the event ended at the11.00 AM.The event is takes place in offline at LIS laboratory. Gowri clearly gave hands-on session. How dat engineer can structure the unstructured data.
