The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering successfully conducted the Awareness Programme on Oil and Gas Conservation (SAKSHAM) on 14th February 2026. The programme, organized under the national initiative of Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), and supported through the CSR initiative of GAIL, aimed to promote responsible energy usage and fuel conservation among students.
A total of 105 students from Second-year Electrical Engineering (EE), Chemical Engineering (CH), and Mechatronics Engineering (ME) actively participated in the programme.
Increased awareness on oil and gas conservation and responsible fuel usage.
Improved understanding of cleaner fuels and sustainable energy practices.
Encouraged students to adopt energy-efficient habits in daily and professional life.
Motivated students to promote national energy conservation initiatives (SAKSHAM).
