From this state Inter school competition, we are going to recommend and send the winning player name to Tamil Nadu government for the National Level Inter school power lifting competition. Similarly, this competition will serve as an example for them to participate in the All India Inter University Power lifting Championship - 2023

3rd Tamil Nadu State Inter Collegiate & Inter School Power Lifting Championship 2022 is jointly organized by Tamilnadu Power Lifting Association and KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology. From this state Inter school competition, we are going to recommend and send the winning player name to Tamil Nadu government for the National Level Inter school power lifting competition. Similarly, this competition will serve as an example for them to participate in the All India Inter University Power lifting Championship - 2023
The Inaugural function started at 9.30 am on November 5, 2022, with the welcome address from Dr. P Haridoss , Director, WCSC Extension & Secretary of WCSC Coimbatore Zone. The championship began with Ms. Swaroopa Nakkeeran, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), lighting the Kuthuvilakku. 
Day 1: (Inter collegiate Men and Inter school Boys )
More than 200 Students from various college and schools have participated in the championship
Day 2: (Inter collegiate Women and Inter school Girls)
More than 200 Students from various colleges and schools have participated in the championship.
The Valedictory Function started at 6.00 pm on November 6,2022 with the welcome address from M Arumugam , Associate Secretary of Tamilnadu Power lifting Association. The Chief Guest Mr. Kamaraj, Junior Commissioner of Indian Army and Dr. M Akila , Principal, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology presided over the function and distributed prizes to all the winners.
The overall championship award was secured by PSG College of Arts and Science in Men Category in the 3rd Tamil Nadu State Inter Collegiate & Inter School Power Lifting Championship 2022.
