Army Day Celebration Report
The Army Day celebration was held on 12.01.2023 commemorating the 75th Army Day Celebration with Col BVS Shiv Rao, Group Commander as the Chief Guest. The event was organized by KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology in collaboration with the KPR College of Arts Science and Research. The celebration was graced by the presence of Dr. M. Akila,Principal, KPRIET and Dr. P. Geetha, Principal, KPR CAS, Registrar, Directors, Heads of various Departments, NCC cadets and Student friends.
The event began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Chief Guest, followed by a guard of honour by the NCC cadets. The chief guest, Col BVS Shiv Rao, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of the Indian Army in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also urged the students present at the event to consider a career in the armed forces and spoke about the various opportunities available in the armed forces.
The chief guest also congratulated the NCC cadets for their dedication and commitment towards the nation and the armed forces. He praised their discipline and urged them to continue working hard to uphold the values of the Indian Army.
The event was attended by a large number of students and faculty members. The celebration was a great success and was well-received by all those in attendance.
In conclusion, the Army Day celebration was a fitting tribute to the Indian Army and its soldiers. The event served to remind us of the sacrifices made by our soldiers in protecting our nation and the need to always be grateful for their service.
