WORKSHOP ON PC HARDWARE ASSEMBLING AND TROUBLESHOOTING, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The workshop covered the Components of Input Devices, Output Devices, Storage Devices, Networking Devices and also a hands-on session on Hardware Assembling and Troubleshooting. From this workshop, the students were developed their skills in assembling the system and known about the basic methods in troubleshooting.

The event Workshop on “PC Hardware Assembly and Troubleshooting” was organized for first year  SDC students  on 24.12.2022. Total of 288 SDC members of Ist year benefited from this session. Dr.P.Geetha Head, inaugurate the workshop. Dr.V.Vignesh SDC Coordinator coordinated this event. The workshop covered the Components of Input Devices, Output Devices, Storage Devices, Networking Devices and also a hands-on session on Hardware Assembling and Troubleshooting. From this workshop, the students were developed their skills in assembling the system and known about the basic methods in troubleshooting. Mr.Harish, Mr.Aashish, and Ms.Ayushma are the student coordinators for this workshop. Every SDC executive members from first year were handled the session. It is a peer to peer session handling technology applied.
Computer assembly is a process in which all the internal components of the computer system are fitted to make the computer functional. The main component involves CPU, motherboard, memory, disk drives, etc. There is a proper process of attachment and installation of each and every component. Troubleshooting is a systematic process used to locate the cause of a fault in a computer system and correct the relevant hardware and software issues. Approaching problem solving using a logical and methodical approach is essential to successful resolution. Hardware troubleshooting processes primarily aim to resolve computer hardware problems using a systematic approach. The process starts by first identifying the problem and finding different issues that can cause such a problem and eventually leading to implementing a solution or alternative.
This workshop enrich the knowledge of students towards the hardware components of computer system.
