Summary
The Department of Science and Humanities organised Poster presentation for all the external participants on Thursday , 16\02\2023, as a part of FIEATAA 23. The event had a good response of 100 registrations. Dr. R. Vidhiya, Assistant Professor, Dept of English, Ms. S. Suvitha, Assistant Professor, Dept of English and Ms. S. Brindha, Faculty Coordinator, Dept of English were the judges of this event. Mr. Udhaya of 1st ECE and Mr.Muthukumar of 3rd EEE were the event coordinators. With this quote the event started by 10.00 AM followed by general instructions given to the participants and successfully ended at 12.00 noon . The posters were given to the participants and asked to discuss about it with 3 minutes times. . The event was fruitful with 32 participants . It made us pleased to see the interest and confidence among the students. All the participants exhibited their thinking and oratorical skills. Many participants showcased their skills in a confident manner. There was a heavy competition among the contestants and they were evaluated for their content, pronunciation and also based on their vocabulary skills. Krishneth and Aravind from PSG ITech won first prize, Ayush Abraham from KMCH won second prize and Sherin Pearly from Dr. NGP won third prize. They were awarded with a shield and cash prizes. All the participants were awarded with participation certificates. The event got positive feedbacks from the participants. The event ended delightfully with great satisfaction among the contestants and the jury panel.
