• During the 'Leadership and Changes' session, Mr. Senthil Nathan discussed the following highlights.
❖ What is leadership? Leadership in the VUCA environment He insisted that pupils pay attention to Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity.
❖ Change management - He provided examples of changes like digital transformation, rebranding, onboarding new leaders, adjusting to market changes, etc.
❖ Change involves several steps.
❖ Overcoming opposition to change requires communication, education, participation, support, agreement, co-opting, and persuasion.
• Finally, he closed the lecture by giving them advice on how to be a good employee and satisfy corporate expectations.
• He responded to every question raised by the audience.

Out of the core discussion, Mr. Senthil Nathan suggested the students to have the will to unlearn what they know. He also stressed that in today’s world, a professional needs to know beyond his/her core area. He also recommended the students to be self-aware and identify their strengths and weaknesses. He wanted them to have a clear idea of their goals, and work on them with passion. He wanted the students to have the ability to communicate clearly, listen patiently and most of all be passionate about their core and career. The students also received valuable advice and guidance from the speaker Mr. Senthil Nathan on how to prepare for their careers, how to face interviews, how to build their professional profile, and move ahead in the corporate world.
