SUMMARY
The speaker, Ms.K.Priyadarshini introduced herself and started the session with the slide sharing. Before entering into the session, she gave a small introduction on what is ZIFO and what kind of services ZIFO provides. She said that ZIFO is a Global BioPharma R & D Services Specialist providing best in class R & D Solutions and services that drives efficiency across the entire BioPharma R & D spectrum. They provide scientific informatics, lab informatics, clinical biometric, regulatory compliances including computer system validation and genome informatics services from global offices across US ,UK ,FRANCE ,GERMANY ,SINGAPORE AND INDIA. They have been listed as one of the fastest growing companies for 8 consecutive years by Deloitte. Their services are entirely science driven and they look for candidates with background in sciences and life sciences as well.
She also added that while getting into ZIFO all freshers will undergo elaborate training process before they are deployed into projects. Each person who joins ZIFO will be expected to sign a Service Agreement for 2 years from their date of joining.
In the section, the Speaker gave information about the interview process and how to prepare for it. She added that ZIFO has three rounds of interview process which through online mode.
· First round has aptitude questions which incudes quantitative analysis, logical reasoning and also puzzle solving.
· The second round is a technical round that has science section and gamified section. The science section is based on the courses in coursera. Gamified section is based on games and the time taken by the candidate is taken into account.
· The third round is a HR round in which the aptitude based questions will be asked to the candidate by the HR on face to face. And duration of the HR round will depends on the candidate answering the HR questions.
The speaker explained the above three rounds in this section in detail. She said that the first round is fully based on aptitude and logical reasoning questions . it also contains puzzles which is based on candidate’s problem solving ability. And she told to prepare for aptitude. The second round consists of the technical section and adaptive games section. The technical section has the questions from the courses offered by coursera like drug discovery and drug development, etc. The gamified section consists of adaptive games in which the time taken to solve a question is taken into account. The third round is a HR round in which the candidates logical thinking ,confidence, communication and problem solving is tested by the HR. The duration of the third round is 1 hour to 1.5 hour approximately.
She shared that gamified section consists areas like aptitude ,technical questions, puzzles, odd one out, grid challenge, complete pattern, fits the rule. She suggested a website called “Gemini” for practicing the gamified questions and puzzles. She added that the rules are very much important in the gamified section and it is little tough than the other sections to complete.
But this round will be enjoyable. She said that there will be hints that are notable which helps to crack the next round easily. If we concentrate on the rules and games it is possible to solve as much levels. In this gamified round there is no matter we get the answers correctly but our problem solving skills will be tested.
She showed the above problem as example for the gamified section.
The speaker shared her experience in ZIFO as it is a Great place to work, easily approachable, and exposed to the industry.She added that what services ZIFO provides like informatics solutions for research based organizations and the company focuses on digitalization of research and clinical development of life sciences.
After providing all the information about the ZIFO, its interview process and preparation for the interview. she answered for the questions asked by the participants like,
1.Tell us about your work experience in ZIFO.
She answered that first when joining the company they gave her clinical training and some basics on IT. she said that she didn’t have any stressful situations during her training period and now she is working as an associate analyst.
2. What is the salary expectation as a fresher in ZIFO?
The speaker answered that as a fresher can expect 4.7 lakh per annum and stated that after 2 years based on the employee’s performance the salary depends.
3. What would you suggest us to prepare in this short duration?
She suggested to prepare only the aptitude.
4. Tell us about essay writing.
A picture will be displayed on the monitor we have to write an essay which should have minimum of 250-300 words .
5. What kind of samples will be collected and analysed in ZIFO as it contains clinical informatics?
She said that the laboratory samples are collected and send to clinical trails. She also stated that there is a separate department for segregating the samples and lining it up. She answered for all the questions patiently and elaborately to satisfy the participants.
