As the "Introduction to SAP and its Applications" course came to an end, the participants gained in-depth knowledge about the fundamental concepts of SAP and its applications. They learned about the basic architecture of SAP software and how it is implemented in various business domains. The course helped them to understand the features and functionalities of SAP and its usage in various organizational processes. The participants also gained hands-on experience in configuring and customizing the SAP system, which can be beneficial for their future career prospects.
The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of KPRIET recently organized a one-credit course on "Introduction to SAP and its Applications" on 31st March and 1st April 2023. The course was aimed at providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the SAP system and its various applications in the corporate world.
Mr. Mohanraj G, the Application Development Manager from Accenture, Bengaluru, was the resource person for the course. With years of experience in the field of SAP, Mr. Mohanraj provided valuable insights into the practical applications of the system, and how it can be utilized to streamline business operations. He emphasized the importance of SAP in modern-day businesses and how it is fast becoming a prerequisite for employment in the IT industry.
Dr. K. Vishnu Kumar, Professor, and Dr. R. Sivaramakrishnan, Asst. Prof. (Sr. G.) in the same department, were the coordinators for the course. The course was attended by 69 students from the CSE department, who were interested in learning about SAP and its applications.
The course was conducted over two days, from 9 am to 4 pm, and covered various topics such as Introduction to SAP, SAP Modules, SAP Architecture, SAP Business Suite, and SAP Applications. The course also included practical sessions, where students got hands-on experience with the SAP system.
The course was held at III CSE A, which provided a comfortable and conducive environment for learning. The students found the course to be highly informative and useful, and appreciated the efforts of the coordinators and the resource person in making the course a success.
Overall, the course was a great learning opportunity for the students and helped them gain valuable insights into the world of SAP and its applications. The CSE department hopes to organize more such courses in the future, to provide students with the latest and most relevant information about the IT industry.
