A technical quiz event was organized on 12th August 2023 at D-208 by the IETE Students’ Forum (ISF), Department of ECE, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology under the Guidance of the Chairman Dr.K.P.Ramasamy, the Chief Executive Dr.A.M.Natarajan and the Principal Dr.M.Ramasamy.
The event started at 9 a.m. with 48 participants (24 teams) from AD, BM, CE, CS, EC and EE departments; the quiz event was conducted in two rounds. In the first round 23 teams participated, at the end seven teams where shortlisted based on their performance (accuracy, clarity, speed, logical thinking, problem solving ability) for participation in second round of the quiz. In second round of the quiz, students knowledge where tested in which seven teams participated. Finally out of 24 teams participated in the quiz competition, Ms.V.K.Pradeebha and Ms.C.R.Megha of III EC won first prize; Mr.S.Santhosh and Ms.S.Suwetha of IV EE won second prize. Totally ₹730 was collected through event registration and both the prize winners team have been awarded with a cash prize of ₹300 (first prize) and ₹200 (second prize).
The cash prizes were distributed by Mr.Jakir Hussain, Coordinator, KPRIET - IETE Students’ Forum and Mr.R.Yeashwanth Balaji and Ms.T.V.Vibesha of III EC coordinated the event in a successful manner under the supervision of Dr.J.Indra, Professor and Head, Department of EC.
E-certificate have been given to all the participants, feedbacks from the participants highlighted the events engaging nature and constructive suggestions were noted for enhancing future events.
