About the Centre

The KPR Centre for Biomedical Equipment Testing and Calibration (CBET) is committed to achieving ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation within the next 12 months. With a trained leadership team, modern equipment, and institutional support, CBET is prepared to deliver NABL‑recognized calibration and testing services to MSMEs, hospitals, and industries in the Coimbatore region and beyond.

Governance & Quality Structure

The team responsible for quality, technical validity, and day-to-day calibration operations at CBET.

Quality Manager
Mr. R. Yoganathan, M.E

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS). Completed Internal Auditor Certification in ISO/IEC 17025 and provides oversight for compliance, internal audits, and continual improvement.

Technical Manager
Ms. C. Priya, B.E

Ensures technical validity of calibration results, supervises testing methods, and oversees staff training. Holds Internal Auditor Certifications in ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 13485 (Medical Devices).

Deputy Engineer
Ms. Kiruthika S, B.E.

Supports routine calibration activities, documentation, and uncertainty analysis. Trained in Measurement Uncertainty with multiple awareness sessions on ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL requirements.

Work Hours
  • In-lab hours: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM
  • On-site hours: flexible, based on client demand and assignments
  • Attendance, leave, and performance follow KPRIET HR policy
Safety & Compliance
  • Mandatory adherence to lab safety SOPs and use of PPE
  • Compliance with chemical, biological, and electrical safety regulations
  • Accidents, incidents, and non-conformities reported per ISO 17025
  • Regular drills and preventive measures for workplace safety
Confidentiality
  • All lab personnel must maintain confidentiality of test results, client data, and internal documents
  • NDAs are signed as needed to comply with ISO 17025 and client requirements
