The Finance Simulation and Modelling Activity was conducted for MBA students to enhance their practical understanding of financial concepts, investment analysis, and portfolio management. The activity consisted of three rounds: Finance Foundation, which tested students’ knowledge of basic financial formulas and ratios; Finance Decode, which strengthened their understanding of key financial terms and concepts; and Market Shock, which involved creating a ₹1,00,000 investment portfolio and analysing the impact of a stock market crash and a rise in gold prices. Students evaluated investment risks, calculated portfolio values, and made strategic financial decisions. The activity promoted financial literacy, analytical thinking, teamwork, risk assessment, and informed investment decision-making among MBA students.
