Department of Civil Engineering has organized a one day Civil Engineer's Technical Updation Programme in association with Coimbatore Builders and Contractors Association on the Topic ' Fundamentals of Concrete Quality Control at Sites' on 20th September, 2023 at Lecture Hall 102, S&H Block, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. Resource Person for the event was Dr. A. Sudhahar, Chairman, Association of Consulting Civil Engineers(India), Coimbatore Centre in association with Chettinad Cement - Mobile Testing Lab. Around 70 young civil engineers staff from 30 different organization working in the office of CEBACA members participated and got benefitted. Also along with them Er. J. Sagayaraj- President, R. Senthil - Hon. Secretary and S. Chinnaiah- Training Panel Head and associates from the CEBACA Association participated in the session. Theoretical session was planned in the morning session at college campus and post lunch field testing was planned for all the participants at KNR Constructions Limited, Thennampalayam, Coimbatore. All the engineers had a great session with the resource person and got in depth knowledge to improve the quality control at Site suring the construction of building.
