Summary

 The Annual meet of Anti-Ragging cell was conducted on 16.03.2022 (Wednesday) in the Legend hall at 11AM to brief about the anti-ragging cell activities. Dr. Ramachandran, Convener – ARC welcomed the guests of honour Mrs. Latha Sundaram, Trustee, Aram Foundations, Mr. R. Madhayan, Inspector of police, Sulur, Mr. Muthuraj Pandiyan, VAO , Arasur. Dr. Akila, Principal delivered the Chairperson address and emphasized that all precautionary measures are taken to ensure that the campus is ragging free.  Mrs. Latha Sundaram, Trustee, Aram Foundations insisted that students should share their problems with parents or faculty to get appropriated solutions. Mr. R. Madhayan, Inspector of Police, Sulur shared various real time scenarios on ragging and drugs usage. He enlightened the audience about the preventive measures to be safe from the social problems.  Mr. Muthuraj Pandiyan, VAO , Arasur motivated students to have a cordial and brotherly relationship amidst students to have a happy college life. Mr. T. Sivakumar, parent of Amruthavarshini(II ECE A), suggested to conduct some awareness programme on Anti-Ragging. Dr. P. Sreelatha presented the activities of the ARC. Dr. Sumathi highlighted the roles and responsibilities of the Squad members. The students cleared their doubts regarding their social and emotional conflicts. Dr. D. Aravindh delivered the vote of thanks. The meet concluded with the National Anthem. About 10 faculties and 25 students across the departments attended the session.
