Department of Civil Engineering organized a session for second year students on the topic 'Scope for a Civil Engineer in Quality Control and Quality Assurance' at Experience Engineering through online mode. Resource person was Er. Arunkumar Shanmugam, Sr. QA/QC Engineer, Dorsch Grouppe, Qatar. From the beginning resource person interacted with the students getting to know about the expectation from the session. Session began with the necessity of studying civil engineering and its scope in the field of Quality control. He also discussed about material testing, inspection and NDT to be performed on the site to ensure quality. In addition to that he emphasized on the risk management and problem solving during crucial situations. He also instructed students to follow the compliance and regulations to be followed scrupulously. He also interacted with the students and clarified their doubts.
