The Department of Civil Engineering at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology organized a two-day value-added course on AutoCAD (Advanced Level) was held on November 17 and 18, 2023, for II Year Civil Engineering students. The training program, led by Assistant Professor Mr. S. Vinoth, covered advanced AutoCAD commands and techniques, creating and editing complex AutoCAD drawings, working with layers, blocks, and dimensions, and using AutoCAD for structural engineering applications. The hands-on training encouraged active participation from students, and Mr. Vinoth's insights into the practical applications of AutoCAD in civil engineering proved valuable. Overall, the value-added course on Advanced AutoCAD was a successful event that provided students with valuable skills and knowledge in AutoCAD software. The Department of Civil Engineering will continue to organize such courses to provide students with the best possible education and preparation for the industry.
