Department of Civil Engineering in association with Office of Alumni Relations organized an Alumni Lecture on “Bending the Basics: Understanding shear and Bending Moments in Beams” for II Year Civil Engineering students. Er. N. Gopal, a distinguished alumnus from the 2019-21 batch and Proprietor of RG Construction and Builders, served as the resource person. He shared his expertise and practical insights, enriching the learning experience for the students. During the lecture, he discussed the complex concepts of shear forces and bending moments, illustrating their real-world applications in construction and design. The session bridged the gap between academic theory and practical implementation, providing significant benefits for the students' academic growth and career aspirations.
