A one-day hands-on training session on "Robotic Welding - Circular Programming" was conducted under the guidance of Dr. B. Arulmurugan, Asso. Professor, Mechanical Engineering. The session provided practical exposure to programming and operating a MIG-based robotic welding system. Students learned to set up the robot, ensure safety compliance, and perform circular interpolation for precise weld paths. Interactive sessions clarified programming techniques and troubleshooting methods. The training enhanced studentsβ understanding of robotic welding and industrial automation. Participants appreciated the practical experience and requested more advanced workshops. Feedback indicated improved confidence in robotic programming. The session highlighted the importance of such programs in preparing students for industry-ready roles. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the coordinator.
