Second International Conference on Sustainable Water (ICSW) 2025, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

Department of Chemical Engineering in association with the student chapters of IIChE, AIChE, ACS & IEI has organized an International Conference on Sustainable Water ICSW 2025 on March 21st and 22nd 2025 at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore in hybrid mode. The event was graced by Dr. K. Ravichandran, Joint Chief Environmental Engineer at the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Suresh Manoharan, Secretary of the Perundurai SIPCOT Textile Processors Association (PSTPA), served as the Guest of Honor. Dr.D.Saravanan, Principal, KPRIET delivered the presidential address for the inaugural ceremony. The souvenir was released by the dignitaries in the presence of all the gatherings. The diverse themes covered in this conference, including circular water economies, digital water technologies and water security highlight the urgent need for interdisciplinary approaches to address pressing water-related challenges. A total of about 167 papers were received under 11 themes and 300+ participants presented their ideas through offline and online mode. Oral presentation happened in12 sessions with two juries in each session. The Best two papers were selected by the juries for each session and given a certificate and cash prize. The participants who have presented physically received their certificate once after the session is completed and who presented online received their e certificate through the mail. The keynote address was delivered by the speakers as parallel session at veena hall. The valedictory function was conducted on second day. Best paper awards were given to the participants and sponsors were honored. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and group photo.
