The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with IEEE CS Madras Section, CSI Chennai, ACM Chennai, IEEE CS KPRIET SBC, and KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology organized a webinar titled “Computational Approaches to Smart Energy Management” on 5th April 2025 at 11:00 AM through an online platform. The session featured two eminent speakers, Dr. Krithivasan Ramamritham, Distinguished Visiting Professor at Sai University, Chennai, and Dr. Gopinath Karmakar, Professor at Pillai College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai.
The objective of the webinar was to provide insights into the application of computational methods and technologies in the area of smart energy management. Dr. Krithivasan elaborated on the significance of real-time and distributed systems in energy monitoring and management, while Dr. Gopinath Karmakar discussed smart grid technologies, AI integration in energy systems, and sustainable practices for energy efficiency.
