Electro-coagulation process in Water Treatment
Summary

Students learnt about the following: ECP uses an electric current to dissolve sacrificial electrodes (usually iron or aluminum) into the water, creating metal ions. ECP is a low-cost, efficient, and environmentally friendly method for removing contaminants, especially in wastewater treatment. It's also relatively easy to operate and requires less sludge compared to chemical coagulation.
