Students gained a clear understanding of the stages in developing a product—including ideation, prototyping, validation, and market launch—enabling them to connect theoretical concepts with real-world execution. Participants learned how engineering principles are applied in startups and innovation, and were introduced to strategies for tackling resource limitations, team collaboration, and failure analysis. The session inspired students to think beyond traditional career paths and consider entrepreneurship, providing motivational stories of startup journeys, challenges, and the value of persistence and creativity. Through Q&A and case studies, students developed insights into the skills, mindset, and communication abilities sought by employers and investors in tech-driven enterprises.
