The rehearsal was structured as follows:
Role Play: Participants will be assigned roles such as Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, or Opposition Leader etc., two days before the event.
Leadership Speeches: Leaders must present the key activities and initiatives of their ministry before facing the press.
Press Interaction: Fellow participants, acting as reporters, will pose challenging and sharp questions aimed at testing the leader’s competency.
Role Switch: After speaking as a leader, each participant will take on the role of a reporter, questioning others and evaluating their responses.

Improved Leadership Skills: Participants acting as Prime Minister, Ministers or Opposition Leader developed confidence in presenting ministry activities and defending
their viewpoints.
Sharper Questioning Ability: Acting as reporters, students learned to frame sharp, relevant and challenging questions that tested the depth of responses.
Enhanced Public Speaking and Communication: Participants practiced clear, persuasive and impactful speech delivery while handling press-style interactions.
Critical Thinking and Responsiveness: The event encouraged participants to think on their feet and provide wise, well-structured answers under pressure.

constructive environment.
Overall, the Youth Press Conference was very successful, giving participants a good opportunity to experience leadership and media interaction. The participants showed enthusiasm, creativity and confidence, which set a strong foundation for future Youth Parliament events.
