The seminar began with a welcome address and the resource person introduction by Dr. K . Vidhya, AP (Sl.G.)/ CSE. The resource person Mr. Yuvaraj Srinivasan further started the seminar with a presentation. The presentation covered an industry perspective of software project management using Agile and Scrum methodologies along with the real-world examples. Mr. Yuvaraj engaged the audience with real-world examples and questions. The participants actively involved in the activities and discussions posted by Mr. Yuvaraj. The presentation also covered the best practices, roles, challenges, fundamentals, artifacts, roles, pillars, values, lifecycle, estimation, plan, monitor and control associated with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Mr. Yuvaraj also lightened the students with the need for the right skills and attitude that they must learn from the college and to follow in the industry. Many students interacted with Mr. Yuvaraj even after the session to know more about placements, career options, and the industry working environment and he happily addressed the same. Moreover, two students gave feedbacks at the end of the session and discussions by highlighting the presentation, the resource person, and the knowledge they gained. Finally, Dr. M. Siva Sangari, AsP/ CSE delivered the vote of thanks by giving away the appreciation note to the resource person, Mr. Yuvaraj. A total of 60 CSE students from 2nd, 3rd, and final year, and 3 CSE faculty members were benefited from the seminar. The seminar was of great help to understand the importance of the subjects “Software Project management”, and “Software Engineering” that CSE students study.
