The Bio Hack AI Hackathon 2026 was successfully conducted on 20 February 2026 as a 6-hour innovation-driven event focused on solving real-world challenges in healthcare, biotechnology, and bioinformatics using Artificial Intelligence. The hackathon provided a platform for students to collaborate, innovate, and develop impactful AI-based biomedical solutions within a limited time.
The event aimed to promote:
Innovation in healthcare and biotechnology
Responsible and ethical AI practices
Interdisciplinary learning and collaboration
Practical problem-solving skills
Awareness of preventive and personalized healthcare.
A total of 26 teams registered from various reputed engineering and technology institutions across Tamil Nadu.
Out of these:
24 teams actively participated
2 teams forfeited their participation
Each team consisted of 2–4 members
Participants represented diverse technical backgrounds such as AI, biotechnology, data science, and computer science
