The Department organized two impactful events aligned with SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions to promote awareness and critical thinking among students.
1. Expert Talk
An expert talk was conducted on the theme “Peace, Justice & Institutions: Pillars of a sustainable and equitable world” The session focused on the importance of justice, transparency, ethical governance, and the role of youth in strengthening institutions. Participants gained insights into real-world challenges and the need for responsible citizenship.
2. Debate Session
A debate was organized on the topic “Is Justice the Foundation of a peaceful society”. Students actively participated, presenting diverse perspectives on governance, accountability, and social justice. The session encouraged analytical thinking, public speaking, and constructive discussion on contemporary societal issues.
