The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, organized an Orientation Program on "Global Certifications" on 17th July 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ragam Hall for the II and III Year CSBS students. The session was delivered by Mr. N. C. Santhosh, Lead Infrastructure Consultant, Thoughtworks, Coimbatore, who highlighted the importance of globally recognized certifications in enhancing technical skills, employability, and career growth. The resource person explained the various global certification opportunities, their industry relevance, eligibility criteria, examination patterns, preparation strategies, learning resources, and registration procedures. Students were guided on selecting certifications that align with their career aspirations and were provided with practical insights on planning and preparing for certification exams. The interactive session effectively addressed students' queries and created awareness about the value of professional certifications in today's competitive job market. As an outcome, students gained a clear understanding of the benefits of global certifications, the process of obtaining them, and were motivated to pursue relevant certifications to strengthen their technical competencies and improve their future career prospects.
