The event was coordinated by Ms. Shree Vidya M., VTools and Documentation Lead, with the support of the IEEE EMBS Society members. A remarkable 343 participants registered and 273 participants actively took part in the online quiz, reflecting the overwhelming response and interest from students.
The quiz consisted of thoughtfully designed multiple-choice questions covering various aspects of hepatitis, including its different types, modes of transmission, symptoms, preventive measures, vaccination, diagnosis, treatment options, and global awareness initiatives. The questions ranged from basic awareness to application-based scenarios, encouraging participants to think critically while improving their understanding of the disease.
The online format enabled participants to join conveniently from different locations, ensuring maximum participation and smooth execution of the event. The quiz platform provided a user-friendly experience, allowing participants to complete the contest within the allotted time while maintaining fairness and transparency in the evaluation process.
The primary objective of the event was to promote awareness about hepatitis and highlight the significance of early detection, vaccination, safe healthcare practices, and healthy lifestyle choices in preventing liver diseases. Through this initiative, participants gained valuable knowledge about one of the major global public health concerns and understood the importance of spreading awareness within their communities.
To recognize the efforts of all participants, e-certificates were awarded to everyone who took part in the quiz. In addition, the top performers were honoured with special recognition for their outstanding performance:
