CIVISTRA 2023, National Level symposium for polytechnic students was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering in association with Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics and Department of Physical Education, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore on March 3rd, 2023 with the aim of providing a platform for learning and networking in the field of civil engineering. The symposium was attended by 122 participants from various polytechnics.
Er. S. Nithyanandam, Managing Partner of Om Muruga RMC plant, was the guest speaker at the symposium. He shared his valuable insights on the latest trends and practices in the field of concrete production, and the importance of quality control in the RMC plant industry.
Several events were organized as part of the symposium, including workshops on 3ds max at MAAC and L & T Experience Engineering Centre, Connection, Civistra Cricket League(CCL) , and Fun events. The workshops provided participants with hands-on experience and knowledge of the latest software tools and technologies used in the civil engineering industry. Events like connection, cricket, and fun events provided a platform for participants to showcase their skills and socialize with their peers.
The symposium provided an excellent opportunity for participants to learn about the latest trends and practices in the field of civil engineering. The workshops, in particular, provided hands-on experience with the latest software tools and technologies used in the industry. The keynote speech by Er. S. Nithyanandam provided valuable insights into the concrete production industry and the importance of quality control. The Civistra Cricket League & Fun events provided a fun and relaxed atmosphere for participants to socialize and network with their peers.
