The event commenced on11th August,2023. Dr. G. Anusha welcomed the guests and the students. Mrs. Indhiradevi P mentioned the importance of the concept valuation of land and buildings for every civil engineer.
Mr. Pichaya S, chairman Std. Board IOV RVF started his session about cost- price and assets- liabilities. He gave a detailed explanation about current assets and fixed assets and current liabilities and long term liabilities. he also gave a clear idea relationship between assets and liabilities.
The session was then proceeded by Mr. Adaikkalavan, chairman IOV, Coimbatore chapter. He made the students understand clear about the purposes of valuation and economic principals of valuation.
The afternoon session was handled by Mr. V. Balasundaram, treasurer- IOV, Coimbatore chapter. The approches and methods in valuation was explained with examples to the students
On 12.08.2023 Mr. Raghuraman N, Joint secretary, coimbatore chapter explained some of the case studies in valuation
The last session was handled by Mr. S Janarthana, Exceutive committee member, coimbatore chapter explained the opportunity to civil engineer and the concept of how to become a valuer.
