The 'Technology in Day-to-Day Life' webinar aimed to explore the ubiquitous presence and influence of technology in our everyday lives.The webinar began by discussing the concept of smart homes, where technology has developed the way we interact with our living spaces. The resource person highlighted the role of IoT (Internet of Things) devices in controlling home appliances, security systems, and even managing energy consumption remotely. They emphasized how smart homes enhance convenience, energy efficiency, and security for homeowners.Social media platforms were discussed in terms of their influence on our daily lives. He also highlighted the positives, such as connecting people globally and disseminating information, but also discussed concerns about privacy and the addictive nature of these platforms.Topics included the development of 5G technology, the integration of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) into various applications.He concluded with a glimpse into the future of technology in daily life.this webinar provided valuable insights into how technology has transformed various aspects of our daily routines and its implications for the future.Students were interactive throughout the session.
