The Innovation Club of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) organized a webinar titled “PCB Design Webinar Series: Scratch to Master” for the Innovation Club members on 26 September 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM through Google Meet.
The session was handled by Mr. Gowthama Chandran S., PCB Designer, OEG Defence & Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. The objective of the session was to introduce students to the fundamentals of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and provide practical exposure to the PCB design process.
Around 55 students participated in the session. The resource person explained the basic concepts of PCB design and guided the students through the various stages involved in designing a PCB. The session included a hands-on demonstration through Google Meet, enabling students to follow the design process and gain practical understanding.
The participants learned the basic workflow of PCB development, including schematic preparation, component selection, component placement, PCB layout, routing, and other essential design considerations. The interactive hands-on approach helped students understand how theoretical electronic circuits can be transformed into a practical PCB design.
The webinar provided students with valuable exposure to industry-oriented PCB design practices and encouraged them to further explore PCB design and hardware prototyping. The session was successfully completed with active participation from the Innovation Club members.
